Norma Natalie Ross Rose

ROSE, (Ross) (Hebert) Norma -77, Admiral Rock, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2011, at the Dartmouth General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of the Anglican Church and a graduate of the Halifax Vocational School. She was employed at various companies in Halifax and Dartmouth. Norma enjoyed travelling, camping and was an avid reader and bingo player. She also enjoyed dancing and knitting. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. Later in life she especially enjoyed time spent with her family and the drives she would be taken on. Surviving are her loving husband, George; children Blaine (Heather) Dartmouth; Wendell (Darlene) Lawrencetown, HRM; Margaret Ann, Porter’s Lake; grandchildren, Stephanie, Tiffani, Daniel, Candice, Riley, Anthony, Linda-Lee, Clay and Tia Marie; half sister, Dorothy (Jim) Tomkins, New York. She was predeceased by son, Bernard; brother Donald and sister Linda. A special thank you from the family for the care Norma was given while she was a resident at Shannex (Bissett Court). Visitation from 12 pm until time of service at 2 pm, Friday 29th of April at the Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Rev. Lloyd Ripley officiating.
