Vickey Lewing Bracey of Stonewall, Louisiana passed away at her home surrounded by family on November 11, 2023, at the age of 66. Vickey was born March 8, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Lynford Gerald and Lena Christine Lewing.
Vickey was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Stonewall and graduated from Fair Park High School. She was a proud owner of Vickey's Lounge for many years where she had many fond memories and made lasting friendships. She had a lively attitude with a caregiving spirit that attracted people to her. Vickey was always willing to help others and care for family in any situation. She loved spending time with her animals, riding horses or spoiling her dog Bear, which she loved with everything she had. She was also an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia. Vickey was married to Terry Bracey on March 8, 2014, a man in whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most.
Vickey was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Lewing.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Terry Bracey; daughter, Lena Spinks-Johnson; father, Lynford Gerald Lewing; brother, Tim Lewing and sister, Mona Serio.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at Salem Baptist Church, 109 Church Road, Stonewall, Louisiana 71078 with Dr. Mike Hawkins officiating.
