Randy Lentz

Eric “Randy” Lentz 62, passed away on April 12, 2017 in Shreveport, Louisiana following a brief illness. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home officiated by Dennis Aaron, and Gary Melanson. A visitation is at 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. and a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Hartsell, Blake Berry, Dakota Howell, Dan Jarosek, Stephen Sutton, Richard Sutton, Tom Jarosek, and John Sutton. Honorary pallbearer will be Dylan Malone.

Randy was born June 3, 1954. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1972. He was a member of the Local 141 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Lee Lentz and grandparents.

He is survived by his wife of 25years, Linda; children, Justin Haag and wife Sharon, Nicole and husband Steve Nicksic, Jeff Lentz and wife Amber; mother, Nelwynn Lentz; brother, Martin Lentz and wife Peggy; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude or the American Diabetes Association.
