Pamela Joan Stevens was born in Salina, Kansas to the late Gertrude "Toni" and Fredrick Stevens. She graduated from St. Vincent's in 1966 before studying at Confederate Memorial Nursing School, graduating in 1969. She served as a Registered Nurse for most of her life.
Pam was a loving sister, aunt and friend. She was always surrounded by her sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was a very supportive Aunt. Pam never missed a birthday or sporting event. She cherished her visits to Florida, Connecticut, Washington and Azorina to stay with her sisters and her family. She liked connecting with her classmates from nursing school and coworkers over lunch. Pam was an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU Tiger fan but she enjoyed watching all sports.
Pam went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the age of 74. She is now reunited with her parents, baby brother, Rickey Stevens and special niece, Marli Wolff.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Karen Bruener and husband, Larry, Dorothy Troudt, Margaret McClure and husband, Greg, Kathy Felicetty and husband, Dan and Patti Crome and husband, Mike.
A visitation for Pam will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park. Officiating the services will be Rev. Raney Johnson. Honoring her as pallbearers are Kirk Felicetty , Chad Felicetty , Dylan Felicetty, Kegan Felicetty, Tanner Felicetty and Garrett Felicetty.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to their friends and family for the love and support. A special thanks to the ICU staff at Willis Knighton North for their amazing care not only to our sister, Pam but to all of us, her family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pam's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
