Marie Margaret Jennings

SHREVEPORT, LA – Celebration of Life services for Marie Margaret Jennings, 91, will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011, in Centuries Memorial Chapel with Bro. H. L. Hendricks officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation Friday, November 18, 2011, from 6-8 p.m., at Centuries. Interment will immediately follow at Centuries Memorial

Park, Shreveport, Louisiana.

Mrs. Jennings was born December 19, 1919, in Bell City, Missouri, to the late Perry William and Bertie Mae Bollinger Hickerson and was called to her Heavenly home November 13, 2011, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Jennings will be remembered as a Loving mother; caring sibling; and devoted grandmother.

Mrs. Jennings is preceded in death by her husband; Lowell “Shug” Jennings, two sons; Raymond and Garry Jennings, and two grandchildren; Anna Marie Jennings and Crystal Lorena May.

Left to cherish Mrs. Jennings memory and tell her stories will be two sons; Donald Jennings of Shreveport, LA and Lowell T. Jennings and wife Tina of Chester, VA, one daughter; Margaret May and husband Hoss of Atlanta, TX, one daughter-in-law; Betty Jennings of Shreveport, LA, one brother; Joe T. Jennings of St. Louis, MO, one sister; Freda Jennings of Dexter, MO, 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, one special friend and caregiver, Virginia Clark, along with numerous extended family members and many great friends.

Honoring Mrs. Jennings as pallbearers will be Bryan May, Clint Sanders, Jerry Bartlett, Larry Jennings, and Virgil Hampton.
