Linda Sue Sims Sepulvado, age 65, of Keithville, Louisiana passed away January 7, 2022 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born March 30, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Richard Sims and Betty Lizzie Brown Sims.
Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her extremely large family. She was a talented crafter and painter. Her family truly admired her beautiful paintings. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and spending hours bird watching. Most of all, Linda loved to take care of the people who loved her most.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jimmy Sims and wife Marilyn, Roseann Wright and Rodney “Porky” Sims and wife Brooke; brothers, Theodore Sims, Lee Sims and wife Janie, Frankie Sims and Michael Sims; sisters, Helen Parker, Delores Barron and husband Steve and Diana Sims; grandchildren, Merinda Wright, Maria Wright, Logan Sims, Brianna Sims, Landon Hood, Jaymon Canizaro, Katie Sims and Denee Duggan; great-grandchildren, Zoey Murray and Jakson Wright. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Sepulvado; her parents, Richard Sims and Betty Lizzie Brown Sims; brothers, Champ Sims, Henery Sims, Roy Garcia and Jimmy Sims; sisters, Mary Ann Sims and Martha Sepulvado and grandson, Charlie Wright.
A visitation for Linda will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 10AM to 11AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Road Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. A funeral service honoring her life will follow at 11AM with Reverend Roger Morton officiating. She will be laid to rest at Centuries Memorial Park. Honoring Linda as pallbearers are Steven Knotts, Steve Barron, Richard Sims, Michael Sims, Frank Sims and Henery Santiago.
