Jimmie Anderson Manning

Jimmie Anderson Manning, a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana entered into rest on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born July 19, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana to James Anderson and Jessie Gass. She worked for Irish Pipe Coating Company for many years before retiring as a Vice President.

She had a green thumb, enjoying working in her yard and growing indoor plants. She had a wide collection of birdhouses. She liked doing crossword puzzles. Jimmie above all loved spending time with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debra M. James and husband, Skip, Diane M. Spitzenberger and husband, Robert and Donna M. Murray and husband, David; granddaughters, Mandy Mills and Sherry Roberts; grandsons, Chad LaFarlette and wife, Eva, Todd LaFarlette, Austin Spitzenberger and Tyler Spitzenberger; great-grandson, Connor Roberts and great-granddaughter, Emma LaFarlette.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Oliver D. Manning and her parents.

A graveside service for Jimmie Anderson will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
