Services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana for Jacob Matthew Doyle, age 11 of Signal Mountain, Tennessee. on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Patti Cote of The Sunrise Assembly of God Church in Highland City, Florida, where Jacob was a member. The interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Jacob went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in Signal Mountain, TN, he was struck by a motor vehicle on his way to church. Jacob was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and lived in Florida for a few years before moving to Tennessee. He was a student at Signal Mountain Middle School, where he enjoyed being a member of the drama club and playing trumpet in the school band. He was a Royal Ranger, an orange belt in Tae Kwon Do, and he enjoyed playing violin. Most of all he was a loving giving child who will forever be missed.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Helen Miller, Edward and Virginia Prokopf and one uncle, Brent Doyle.
He was survived by his loving parents, Ann Marie Miller and Michael Doyle; sister, Callie Doyle; uncle, Robert Miller and wife, Ashley; maternal grandparents, Carol Ann and Roy Miller; maternal great grandfather, Robert Matthew Miller; paternal grandparents, Lynn Johnson and Paul Doyle.
Pallbearers will be Roy Miller, Spike Prokopf, Edward Prokopf, Michael Prokopf, Adam Brantley, Chris Moore, Aaron Bequette and Dan Felicetty.
