Grace Alice Stinson

Grace Alice Stinson, age 83, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Grace was born October 3, 1938 in Camp Worth, Texas to Stella Deggs Meador and Archie Meador. She retired from Family Dollar as a store manager and dedicated her life to be a homemaker.

Grace was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend with a heart of gold. She was always kind and forever beautiful. She enjoyed reading, drinking her coffee, going for walks, sitting on the porch, and watching Judge Judy. She had a passion for sewing and was crazy about her plants. Most of all, she loved her family with all her heart.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Darlene and husband Mike, Penny, Raymond and Pam and husband Jerry; brother, Charles Meador; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Andy, Matthew Prunty II, Ashley and husband Chris, Raymond Jr. and wife Nicole, Chelsea and husband Andrew, Joshua and wife Dubran, Jessica and Cody; great grandchildren, Andilyn, Alaina, Jessica, Myracle, Michael Brent, Chloe, Emma, Stinger, Casey, Lacey, Emily, Jace, Jacob and Caleb.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elvie; her parents Stella and Archie Meador; sister, Katherine Powers; and brothers Jake Meador and Gene Meador.

A celebration of life memorial service for Grace will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Andy Cole.
