Donald Ray Nielsen Sr.

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Donald Ray Nielsen, Sr., 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Donald was born on March 23, 1946 in Dunn, LA and passed away on June 15, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. He was extremely caring and giving and was dedicated and devoted to his family. Donald loved to work and spending time with his family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Nielsen and his brothers, Kenny and Charles Nielsen.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Donald are his children, Debbie Nielsen Morse and husband Mark and Donald Ray Nielsen, Jr. and wife Lisa; sisters, Linda Clark and Judy Rodrigues and husband Marty; brothers, Rickey Nielsen and wife Brenda, Bruce Nielsen and wife Rose and Steven Nielsen. Donald is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Honoring Donald as pallbearers will be: Rick Nielsen, Eric Nielsen, Matt Rodrigues, Mark Rodrigues, James Nielsen, Tim Bamberg, Jeff Bamberg and Michael Rodrigues.
