I'm so sorry to hear this.  I hate that I didn't know sooner.  I live in Oregon and had no idea.  I was wondering why I hadn't heard from Cindy as we always stayed in touch. She always sent me pictures of the girls and grandsons. I know her love for you will never end.

For Thanksgiving, I wrote you a thank you note, as well as providing a place where others can leave behind flowers. What can I say my dear friend?  You were such a true friend to us, a very faithful one.  I keep thinking of you everyday.  I kept waiting for your e-mails without knowing you were gone.  You said “This will not TAKE me down…” and I thought you could some how pull through this as you always did with other predicaments in the past.  I was going to come see you on that Friday the 1st of October but couldn’t get hold of you.  I thought I would have plenty of time to take you around. I’m so sorry my friend.  Don and I cannot comprehend the fact that you were really gone Cindy...You were one of a kind.  We will miss you and you’ll always be in our hearts.  You mentioned that you just want people to be there for the girls and I promise I’ll keep in touch with Renee, Leslie, Nathan and Jacob. I didn't know Cindy's daughters and not sure her brothers will remember me, but we played softball together for several years in elementary school and 7th grade at the Cedar Grove park...We became really good friends and spent many a weekend nite together falling asleep with our transister am radios under our pillows...I am truly sorry for your loss and know that one day we will all meet again.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Cindy, you were always full of life and humor making everyone around you laugh.  Even though we only connected on occasion living so far apart, we always picked up right where we left off.
