Cole Lorant Moore was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Daphne "Jill" Moore and Scott Houston Moore. He was a beloved son and cherish friend. He was on the brink of his senior year at Captain Shreve High School, filled with dreams and aspirations yet to be realized. Cole brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who knew him. Despite his quiet nature, he possessed a remarkable ability to see the best in people.
Cole was a passionate car enthusiast. Whether it was tending to his car or cruising down the open road, he found joy behind the wheel. He especially loved his vintage 1992 Camaro. As he stood on the threshold of adulthood, Cole gave his life to Christ this past Thanksgiving, which has brought tremendous peace to his family.
On Friday, May 24, 2024 Cole went to be with the Lord at the age of 16. His kindness, warmth and smile will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. He was met in Heaven by his grandfathers, Bobby Moore and Tommy Smith.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Jill Moore; father and stepmother, Scott and Lindsey Moore; grandmothers, Fran Moore and Teenie Smith; uncles, Mark Moore (Kasia) and Todd Smith (Anna); stepbrothers, Mark and Shawn Zielsdorf; along with several cousins and one niece.
A Celebration of Life for Cole will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Riverpark Church, 3232 E 70th St., Shreveport, LA 71105. Officiating the service will be Marcus Briggs, Pastor at Riverpark Church.
