Anna Louise Jenkins Lowery

Life celebration services for Anna Louise Jenkins Lowery, 85, will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at the graveside in Centuries Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends of Mrs. Lowery will precede the service at 10:00 am at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Anna was born on May 11, 1930 in Shepherdstown, West Virginia and passed away on February 17, 2016 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Anna had a zest for life that she loved to share this with her patients at Highland Hospital where she served as a nurse for many years. Among her many hobbies; she love to fish, to cook, to make her signature homemade rolls and to do anything with her husband, Charles. She loved and was loved by her husband, children, granddaughter, and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lowery was preceded in death by the love of her life Charles H. Lowery. She is survived by her sons, Mike Lowery and Ronnie Lowery; her daughter Dede Lowery; her granddaughter Lyndsey Flowers and husband Chad; and her great grandchildren, Brantley, Camden, Brady, and Caden Flowers.

The family would like to thank James and Jean Goins, Rita from United Home Health, and Gloria from Home Instead for all of their care and support in this time.
