Amber Fay Kissack was born on March 21, 1994 to Sam Kissack III and Erica Stewart in Silver Springs, Maryland. She went home to the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Shreveport, Louisiana at the age of 23.
A visitation for Amber will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 starting at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Amber attended West High School; following her graduation in 2012, she attended LSUS, striving to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. Her free time was spent staying active by playing Frisbee golf, cycling, running and hiking, but her passion was art. She was a talented artist. She loved wood burning and even has her artwork displayed at the Knoxville Museum of Art in Knoxville, Tennessee. She also enjoyed playing guitar. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her parents; her sisters, Sabriah Kissack and BraLynn LaCour; and her step-father, Joseph LaCour.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Samuel Kissack Jr. and great-grandmother, Ruth Griffith.
