Karen M. Waller

Karen was born February 26, 1944 in Chippewa Falls, WI to William and Rose (Gerber) Balts. She was a graduate of Chippewa Falls High School, Class of 1962.

In 1979 she moved to the Sheboygan area where she was employed in the office at Lakeland College.

Karen was a very creative shopper and giver of gifts. She had many unique collections. She enjoyed her morning coffee all day long, occasionally with a slice of pie.

She is survived by her loving partner of twenty-one years, Richard Bucural; her daughter, Kristine (Mike) Mohr of Sheboygan; her son, Paul Waller of Cedarburg; her mother, Rose Balts of Eau Claire; her granddaughter, Erin Rose Mohr of Sheboygan; her brother, Ken (Mary Lou) Balts of LaCrosse; her sisters, Shari (Swede) Zwiefelhofer of Bloomer, WI; Sheila (John) Watton-Johnson of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Bev Schirmacher of Appleton.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial gathering in celebration of Karen’s life will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Ballhorn Chapels & Crematory, 1201 N. 8th St. Sheboygan, WI 53081.

In lieu of flowers, do something nice and unique for a neighbor or friend and, next time you have a cup of coffee, say a toast to Karen.
