Terry Joe Thomason

Terry was born in OKC, OK to Joel and Judy Thomason. He grew up in Warr Acres, OK. He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1979. Terry worked in restaurant’s all of his life including Monterey House, El Chico, Taco Bueno, and at Cocina De Mino as the general manager for over 20 years. Terry was an avid Nascar fan. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys and the OU Sooners. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was always surrounded by family, friends, fun times, and loved by all that knew him. Terry loved listening to old time country music.

He was preceded in death by his father Joel Thomason; his mother-in-law Mae Hohman that loved him as her own son; and his beloved Yorkie, Molly.

He is survived by his wife Karen of the home in Tecumseh, OK; mother Judy of Oklahoma City, OK; sister Brenda Venable of Wisconsin and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry passed away peacefully at home after a long stay at OU Medical Center due to complications from diabetes that resulted in a tragic car accident. We would like to say a special thank you to Angelic Family Hospice for their care, compassion and love shown to Terry and his family.
