Mary Ann Romberg

Upon graduating from Centerview High School. Mary Ann began working at Sylvania where she met her future husband, Arnold Romberg. Together they owned several insurance agencies over the years. Mary Ann retired in 2017 from Church Insurance Specialists, Romberg Insurance Agency. She was awarded the Brotherhood Mutual Legacy Award for 2019.

Mary Ann was a longtime member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.

Her activities there included Church Treasurer, Sunday School teacher, sewing ministry, coordinator of G.R.O.W Visitation, Gloreta Training, various mission trips, and “Lightning Bug Stories”.

Mary Ann enjoyed being around children, sewing, making quilts and baby blankets, planting flowers and a vegetable garden, traveling, trips to the Holy Land, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Arnold Romberg; parents Joe and Mae Bell; and brothers Benny and Jvon Bell.

She is survived by her 3 children and spouses Cathy and Terry Steward, Randy and Margie Romberg, and Cindy and David Carter. Grandchildren Ryan Steward and wife Dara; Todd Steward and wife Mandy; Morgan Romberg; Josh Romberg; William Webb; Mathew Marcer; Michelle Lanham and husband John; Lindsey Arrington and husband Elliott; Jon Carter and wife Heather; 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Rock Creek Baptist Church.
