Jerry was a family man who took no greater pride than in caring and providing for his family. He graduated from Shawnee High School and went on to marry the love of his life, Sharon Baker. He loves all sports but his favorite was baseball. Jerry played semi-pro baseball for the Dodgers Farm Club in Odessa, Texas. He was a hard worker and intelligent man. He owned several different businesses in Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Sharon Baker; son, Brett Baker and his wife, Tina; and grandkids: Ashlynn and Zachary Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Laurene Baker; two babies: Billy Dean and Kelly Dawn Baker; and sister, Donna Baker.
A funeral service for Jerry will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801.
