Gladys Jacquilee Pulford

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pulford passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Jacquilee was born October 12, 1923, in Greenfield, Oklahoma, to Daniel L. and Gladys (Cotton) McCulley. She attended schools in Shawnee. She married William Childers Wells, Jr. in 1944. She worked for Sears for three years. She moved to Lawton, Oklahoma where her and her husband owned and operated Jack and Jill Clothing Store for ten years. They then moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas where she owned a clothing store for three years. She later went to work for Whirlpool and was employed with them for ten years. She married Charles Pulford in 1985. She worked for the WT Raleigh Company and JR Watkins Company from 1989 to present. She moved back to Oklahoma in 2005. She was a member of the Gideons International. She was a Past President of the Gideons Ladies Auxillary.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Charles, of the home; three sons: Larry C. Wells, Grapevine, TX, Terry P. Wells and his wife, Mary, Norman, OK and Jerry D. Wells and his wife, April, Grapevine, TX; seven grandchildren: Nicole Lee, Bryan Wells, Summer Little, Amber Fuchs, Ellory Wells, Kellsye Wells and Kaci Simmons; nine great grandchildren; and one brother: D.L. McCulley and his wife, Ruth, Greenville, TN.
