Doris Marie Floyd, 64, of Shawnee, OK passed May 3, 2011 at her home. She was born February 27, 1947 in Seminole, OK to Francis and Mary (Edmondson) Mauney. Through the years Doris worked at House of Health, in home health, and as a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Larry Floyd; two daughters, Carey Mayhew and husband, Gerald, of Midwest City, OK and Donita Baptiste and husband, Greg, of Shawnee, OK; stepson, Russell Floyd and wife, Alica, of Mustang, OK; stepdaughter, Michelle and husband, Mac Thompson, of Choctaw, OK; sister, Margaret Ford of Seminole, OK; and 6 beloved grandchildren, Taylor Baptiste and Shawn Mayhew. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Bob Mauney, and one sister, Mary Staff. Her graveside service will be 2:25pm, Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Maple Grove Cemetery located at 1000 W. Strothers in Seminole, OK under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
