Diana Kay (Lane) Oden passed from this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Diana was born September 20, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA to Marcus and Josephine (Wiechowski) Lane. She graduated from George Washington High School and received her Associates of Business from Seminole State College.
Diana worked in accounts payable for the tax commission.
Diana married Burl Edward Oden on February 6, 1967 in Glasgow, MT. They had a big family together and she loved spending time with them. Hobbies that Diana had included sewing, quilting, gardening, and being a part of prayer groups. She also was a member of the Prague Quilting Club.
Diana was a member of Graces Fellowship, St. John of God, and Mending Hearts. She devoted a lot of her time to mission work with her church and Shawnee Mission.
Diana’s achievements include going to college later in life to get her Associates of Business degree and being Head of Toast Masters.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marcus and Josephine Lane, her husband Burl Oden, her brother John Lane, and her sister Mary Lane.
She is survived by her daughter Angela Sue Nunez of Islip, NY, son Eugene Edward Oden and wife Lisa C. of San Antonio, TX, daughter Elizabeth Elane Oden of Yukon, OK, daughter Melissa Renee Little and husband Tony W. of Bethel, OK, and daughter Margaret Josphine Oden of Shawnee, OK; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 niece, and 1 nephew. Others that she had an impact on was the Nguyen family and Lam Tran who she sponsored from Vietnam.
