William H Gray "Bill" (88) was born in Lockwood Folly Township to Coyet Hewett Gray and Hugh Bellamy Gray, both deceased. Sister Betty Lou Gray Funk, deceased.
He is survived by his wife Tipton Gray, 4 Nephews, 1 Niece, and many cousins.
Bill graduated from Shallotte High ('51) then entered the US Navy ('51-'55). After which he earned an Electrical Engineering degree from NC State ('59). After graduation, he worked at Duke Power in Charlotte NC until his retirement in 1993.
After retirement, Bill and Tippy loved to travel the US and visit friends and family. He was also an avid golfer and loved bird watching by the river.
There will be no services or flowers per Bills wishes.
