Thomas "Tommy" Vincent McClure, III

He was born in Yonkers, NY on November 5, 1947 the son of the late, Thomas Vincent McClure, Jr. and Mary Lou Williams McClure. He was preceded in death a grandson, Joseph McClure Acera and by his loving dog, Briggsley Wizzwell Hampton.

Tommy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed with Verizon for 33 years until his retirement. He was a member of the CWA and Telephone Pioneers of America.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Barbara E. McClure; three daughters, Kimberly Ann Atkins and husband, Tim of Satsuma, FL, Janel Murray and husband, Frank of Apex, NC and Erica Acera and husband, Leonardo of Winnabow, NC; five grandchildren, Collin Thomas Murray, Leonardo Thomas Acera, Chloe Rose Murray, Elise Murray and Brandon Dix; a sister, Gayle Beller of Summit, NY; two brothers, Gerald McClure of Newburgh, NY and Patrick McClure of Norwalk, CT; a sister-in-law, Johanna Tepperwien and husband, Jim of Carmel, NY; three brothers-in-laws, Thomas J. Eufemia, New York, NY, Michael A. Eufemia of Southwick, MA, Steven G. Eufemia of Poughkeepsie, NY.

A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 in the morning on Friday May 4, 2018 at White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel.

There will be a gathering family and friends from 7 to 9 PM on Thursday evening on May 3, 2018 at White Funeral and Cremation Service Shallotte Chapel.
