Shirley was born Ash, North Carolina on March 19, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Albert Erdon Babson and Delta Inman Babson. She was a retired Security Guard.
She is survived by three sisters, Nina Stanley of Bolivia, Betty Campbell and Eunice Smith of Thomasville, NC.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Lou White Memorial Chapel of White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte with Reverend Brad Bullard officiating. Interment will follow in New Britton Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Mintz, Gerald Mintz, Alan Stanley, Kelly Edge, Omar Lopez and Jeremy Stanley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
