June Eileen Latterman

June was born October 3, 1933 in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late Roy Smith and Cecil Hatte Smith. She grew up in Stewiacke and moved to New York in 1965. For many years she was a school bus driver for West Point Tours in Vails Gate, New York. June loved the NY Yankees and attended many games as well as enjoyed watching them on television. She had a great personality and sense of humor. She was a friend to many and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Eric Smith, Reggie Smith, Jack Smith; and one sister, Olga Flewitt.

Survivors include her children, Dean Latterman and wife Tracey of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, Brenda Elliott and husband Gary of Bolivia, North Carolina, and Michael Latterman and wife Maggie of Clarksville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Marisa Lomonico-Jones and John Romanik; and two great grandchildren, Dash Lomonico-Jones and Chase Lomonico-Jones.
