Haley Jasmine Skipper

Haley was born November 19, 2003, in New Hanover County. She was full of life and enjoyed photography, drawing and reading. Haley could be found relaxing in her fuzzy pajamas and fuzzy slippers. She loved eating Mexican food and chili cheese fries, but her favorite was macaroni and cheese. Haley was a friend to many and will be missed by all who loved her. Preceding her in death was her grandfather, James Carter Jacobs, grandfather, Manuel Moreno, and great grandparents, Larry and Marjorie Guy.

Survivors include her parents James Richard Skipper and wife Denee of Shallotte; sisters, Taylor Long and Haley Long of Shallotte; brothers, Justice Croom of Pender County and James Carter Skipper of Shallotte; grandparents, "Mim-me" Brenda Skipper of Bladen County, "Papa" Darrell and "Granny" Tina Evans of Shallotte, and great grandmother, Rosemary Williamson of Supply; uncle and aunt, James and Alexis Patterson of Raeford and Lohomah and Michael Freeman of Bolton;uncle James Mason Jacobs of Bolton; great-aunt Herlina Vera of Boyton Beach, Florida and her canine "child" Cookie Elizabeth; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends On Friday, October 7, 2022 from three o'clock until five o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Haley had a soft spot in her heart for homeless people so in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the homeless shelter of your choice.
