Frank "Pappy" was survived in death by his loving wife of 21 years, Robin Minges Cozzolino, brother Edmond Truman, many cousins, nieces, and nephews out of Savannah Georgia, daughter and son in law Elizabeth and David Carmon, son Vernon Bullock, son and daughter in law Christopher Hodges and Ashlie Gatewood, son David Hunt, grandchildren Ruby McClure, Damien Hodges, Arya Hodges, and Cashton Hunt, and great-grandson Nicholas Graham. Pappy was preceded in death by his mother and father Martha Elizabeth and Frank Miller Cozzolino, sister Sheila Truman, brother Ian Truman and grandson Matthew McClure.
Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who showed up for "his". He may have fussed from time to time regarding whatever the situation was at hand, but he was always there without fail for us all. Being the backbone of the family, Pappy, liked to let mom think she was "in charge" when in actuality he handled everything for her. As a close friend mentioned jokingly the other day "Frank you just can't leave because Robin will never be able to find anything ever again", but she could not have been more correct. A passionate fisherman and member of the Brunswick County Community, Pappy enjoyed giving and spending time with countless local fisherman as well as vacationers alike. He always caught the biggest, if not the only, flounder which he liked to call a flatty with his favorite pole, The Flounder Pounder. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends as we remember all of the jokes and laughter that he brought to life for us all. The man had a way of bringing the mischief out of all of us in the best of ways, but he did not play when it came to his love.
A celebration of life will be held in honor of "The Fisherman" for his family and friends Friday, November 22nd at 2:22 PM at Sabbath Home Baptist Church located at 990 Sabbath Home Road SW Supply North Carolina. Visitation will begin at 2.
In lieu of flowers, his wife, Robin, has asked for donations to be made in honor of Frank to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
