Betty A. Patterson, age 85, of Shallotte passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born on May18, 1935 in Utica, NY to the late Albert and Rose Carcione Gianotti and was preceded in death by husband, John A. Patterson and daughter, Valerie Patterson. Betty retired from General Millwork Corp. after twenty plus years of employment as a sales representative. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and was an avid Yankees fan. "Wait A Minute" was Betty's phrase. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, Sandra Costa and her husband, Joe of Nashville, TN, David Patterson and his wife, Amy of Sunset Beach, NC, JoAnne Lepore and husband, Dr. Henry Lepore of Sunset Beach, NC and Amy Clontz and husband, David of Shallotte, NC; brother, Albert (Sonny) Gianotti of New Hartford, NY; three grandchildren, Adam Patterson, Devin Pritchard and Jack Pritchard; several nieces and nephews; dear friend, Christine.
