Tim entered this world June 16, 1666 - quite a few years after his siblings. His older sister Bonnie doted on him. His brothers Andy and Mike were not as fascinated when Tim was an infant but he did tell fond stories of playing ‘tag’ with his brothers when he was a young boy. It was in 1984 that Tim met his future wife Margo. They were working together at Trader Publishing. He used to tease Margo by telling everyone that he was the one who proposed when in reality, Margo proposed to him. She was the impetus for his change in careers from print publishing to a farrier. He would watch the farrier work on our horses and began to ask questions. His interest progressed and he apprenticed, went to school and then started his new career. Despite the toll it took on his body, Tim very much enjoyed being a farrier. He was good at it. So good, in fact, that UCF would send cases to him. He worked on many special needs horses over the years. The death of Tim’s parents hit him hard and the toll that working as a farrier continued to cause health issues. He was a stoic man, despite his emotional turmoil. He had a difficult time reaching out to others when his emotions were high but was one of the first to offer a smile or hug when someone needed it. Tim was an amazing man and touched a great many lives… more than he realized. He passed August 18, 2024, with relatives at his bedside.
Tim is survived by his wife Margo, and their son Kelsey. His siblings Andy, Mike and Bonnie; as well as nephews, nieces and grand nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the SPCA or Humane Society, as Tim loved his dogs, and if he had been given free rein, would have had a herd of them in the house.
