STICKLEY, Jr., Richard Glenn, “Dick” of Largo, Florida, died on Friday, December 10, 2021 peacefully at his home. He was 93 years old and lived a long and active life. Born in Washington, D. C., he moved to Largo with his beloved wife, Dottie Stickley in 1982.
He was a splicer with the C&P telephone Company. After retiring, he was a fixture at Largo Golf Course for the past 39 years as an employee, volunteer and member of the Golf League. He was an excellent craftsman and made hundreds of frames for anyone fortunate to get a “hole in one”!
You could not find a better person than him! He always had a smile on his face and was friendly to whoever would talk to him. He was a very giving person who would help anyone. There is no one who did not love "Dickie"! He left an impression on you and you were a better person for it!
He is survived by his niece, Patricia A. Stickley and great niece, Sabrina Delgado Stickley, both of Virginia.
He had an amazing sense f humor and was loved by family and friends. He will be truly missed!
As his golf buddy would say! Set up a tee time for us in Heaven!
Arrangements were made under the direction of Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131st Street North, Seminole, Florida 33776 / 727-391-0121.
