Jill was born in Pinellas County, Florida and raised in Seminole, Florida. She attended all the local schools, Bauder Elementary, Seminole Middle and Seminole High School graduating class of 1984. Jill also graduated from Florida State University in 1989 and graduated University of South Florida Tampa for her Master’s degree in 1997. Jill also attended a local Christian College and was a devoted Christian to God’s word and his many blessings.
Jill enjoyed and loved singing and music. Jill was a part of Seminole Singers in high school and a local group, the Suncoast Singers and sang with our mother. She also was a very accomplished pianist and achieved several awards.
After college, Jill was a stewardess for Delta Airlines for five years. After getting her Master’s degree in Secondary Education she became a Middle School teacher in Pinellas County.
In 2017 Jill became ill and through health issues and time succumbed to her illness August 14th, 2021. She is survived by her mother, Juanita Boothroyd; sisters, Caron (Graham) Cook, Valerie Johnston and Robyn Boothroyd. Her nephew James Robert and niece, Jennifer Lynn (Jameson) and grandnephew, Gavin Tyler and grandniece, Julienne Marie.
