Joe "Greñas" Salinas passed away on the 17th of July, 2012 at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 18 days. Visitation will be held in the chapel of Goetz Funeral Home on Friday, July 20th from 5-9 pm, with a Rosary Service beginning at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 11 am on Saturday, July 21st. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joe Salinas, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Consuelo Salinas; wife, Janie Salinas; sons: Joe Salinas III (Arlene), Jason Robert Salinas (Andrea), and Jimmy Salinas (Sunny); daughter, Janette Salinas (James); sisters: Pauline Smith (Dave), Silvia Serna (Rudy), Yolanda Rivera (Bill), and Julia Butler (Kenneth); brothers: Tony Salinas, David Salinas, and Louie Salinas (Kathy); grandchildren: Joe Salinas IV, Marcus Anthony Salinas, Luke Ryan Salinas, Nathaniel Salinas, Gilbert Allejos, Gabriel Salinas, James Medrano, and Abriana Medrano.
