Evelyn Anita Wagner

Evelyn Anita Wagner passed away June 30, 2014 at the age of 86. Evelyn was born to Theodore and Emma (Bittner) Demuth, Sr. in rural Guadalupe County on December 18, 1927. She married Edwin Wagner and together had three children, Elaine, Linda and Steven.

Evelyn was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, enjoying the Ladies Aide and Bible studies. She was an avid knitter and crochet artist.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Adolph, Ervin, and Theodore, Jr. and sisters Lydia Grimm and Amilia Demuth.

She is survived by her brother Melvin Demuth and children, Elaine Braune and husband Gerhold, Linda Bode and husband John, and son Steven Wagner.

She is survived by four grandchildren whom she cherished, Shelli Harborth and husband Kevin, Jonathan Bode and wife Becky, Timothy Braune and wife Erica, and Mark Braune and wife Naomi.

She was also blessed with nine great grandchildren, John Michael and Kendall Harborth, Matthew and Claire Bode, and Madison, Isabell, and Malachi Braune and Luke and Kai Braune.

Friends are invited to call upon Evelyn’s family for a time of visitation, Sunday, July 6th from 5:00-7:00pm in the Goetz family room at Goetz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7th at 10:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church 935 E. Mountain St., Seguin followed by a pavilion committal service and interment at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park 2951 State Hwy 46, New Braunfels.
