Ruth Flaig

Ruth was born in Secaucus, New Jersey, to Georgine and Henry Kroll.

Beloved wife of the late Henry Flaig Sr.; loving mother of Valerie O’Connor, Henry Flaig Jr. and his wife Lynn, Marie Hayden and her husband Richard, Ruth Flaig and her husband Robert Valeiko, and Wayne Flaig and his wife Dawn; cherished grandmother of Richard and Matthew O’Connor, Henry III, Christopher and Ryan Flaig, Cara Hall and Kimberley Pate, and Raymond and Wayne Flaig. Ruth also leaves behind four cherished great grandchildren, Dustin, Brooke, Amber and Rylee, and her best friend Janice.

Ruth’s life passions were cooking, dancing and singing. Ruth’s cooking was gourmet quality, giving her family an appreciation for lovingly prepared, delicious food. She gave her family wonderful memories of family gatherings where food was celebrated. They continue to reminisce about the many wonderful meals they’ve shared and enjoyed together.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Friday, June 17, from 9 to 11 AM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ. Proceeded by a funeral prayer service at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton, NJ.
