Lawrence G. Smith, 53, of Rutherford, NJ passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
Born in Jersey City, NJ to Robert Smith and the late Mary (nee Ferrigine).
Devoted husband of Lori Smith; loving father of Nicholas Smith; cherished brother of Suzanne Gentile and Robert Charles Smith; adoring uncle of Julia and Jessica Gentile; beloved nephew of the late Mary DeStefano. Lawrence also leaves behind his caring mother-law June Gaitens and loving sister-in-law Lisa Marzarella and his nieces Alexandra Marzarella Santos and her husband Christopher and Samantha Marzarella and Shylah Oldano and her husband Steve and his great niece Staci as well as many close family members and friends.
A visitation for Lawrence will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 6 at 10:30AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 91 Home Ave., Rutherford, NJ. A committal service to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
