He was born to Fred and Ruth Schneider of North Bergen. After graduating Fairleigh Dickson University, Fred eventually took over the family automotive business in Guttenberg, NJ. He met his wife Arlene Boman at a local bowling alley. Together they had two children: Frederick Scott and Chris-Ann.
Fred is survived by his loving wife Arlene Schneider who he was married to for 55 years. He was a loving father to Frederick Scott and his wife Allyson, and Chris-Ann Forchette and her late husband Keith; cherished grandfather of Katie-Lynn Schneider and Kyle Forchette; and dear brother of Betty Schneider.
Fred became a member of the Order of the DeMolay in 1958. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge - Secaucus-Hudson Lodge No. 72 where he was Worshipful Master in 1990.
A visitation for Frederick will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 4 to 8PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 10:30AM at Mack Memorial Home. Interment to follow at Grove Church Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
