Sandra Ann Schaser Sharp, 78, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021 at her home in Bothell, WA. Born in Landis, New Jersey on April 8, 1943, she was the daughter of John Schaser and Eleanor Baechler.
Sandy grew up in Vineland, NJ where she attended high school and graduated in 1961.
On August 27, 1976, Sandy married William (Bill) Sharp of Darthy, NJ and they enjoyed a long and happy marriage. Sandy was a devout Presbyterian and a member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (EPC) in Bothell, WA where she served as a Stephen Minister at EPC for many years displaying her empathy and compassion.
Sandy was an outstanding equestrian in her youth where she was awarded many trophies and ribbons. As an adult, she enjoyed bowling, singing in the choir at EPC and was an avid reader. Sandy had a long-time involvement with floral design and the craft community including her business Sharp Creations in her home.
Sandy was a very loving person with high hopes for everyone and she will be fondly remembered for her many hugs. Sandy was a wonderful wife, loving mother and a loyal and devoted friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Sandy is survived by her husband Bill Sharp, her son Dan Lodge (Heather) of Rosenhayn, NJ, two granddaughters Heather and Jill and one grandson Christopher and three great- grandchildren. Sandy is also survived by her sisters, Robin and Debbie, and her brother Jack (Ann) Schaser.
There will be a graveside service at Abbey View Memorial in Brier, WA on November 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM. On November 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM a Celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 19540 104th Street, Bothell, WA 98011.
