Robert Dale Meier

Bob Meier was born in Hastings, Nebraska January 21, 1929 to William & Elsie Meier. In 1938 his dad passed away and the family moved to Seattle to live with his Mom’s family, until his mom found work. In 1951 he was drafted and spent time in Korea and Japan. Eight months after his discharge, he and Lorraine Wade were married June 5, 1953. He worked for Black Manufacturing for more than 30 years.

Bob passed away December 21, 2021 from natural causes. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, son Jay (Noreen) daughter Julie (Scott Gary) daughter Janel, brother Duane (Julie) and sister-in-law Barbara Wade Gates. He is also survived by grandchildren; Justin, Jesse and Jennifer Meier, Breanna (Paul Anderson) and Katie Wilbur, Mackenzie, Michaela and Cameron Paulus. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be January 21, 2022 at 11:00 am and 12:00 pm for burial at Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home 14951 Bothell Way Ne, Seattle, WA 98155.
