Dick passed away March 17, 2021 in Edmonds WA where he was born and raised and spent his life never more than an adjoining town away.
He was a member of Edmonds High School Class of 1957 and he proudly served as a medic in the Air Force from 1955-1959.
Dick retired in 2000 as AVP of Bank of America, aka Seattle First National Bank, where he started in 1964. After retirement he got his pilot’s license and spent time hunting, fishing on his boat, golfing, and his favorite pastime of all - working on cars.
He was a member of the Grand Lodge F&AM since 1961, The Scottish Rite of Freemasonry since 1971, and a Nile Shriner. He was also a long-time member of Ronald Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son Richard J Fleming Jr. He is survived by his wife Janice Fleming; daughters Laura (Harry) Young and Erin (Mike) Little; grandchildren Valerie, Justin, James, Michael and Spencer; and great grandchildren Michael, Myla, and Maddyn.
He wanted to be remembered as a good guy and for his caring and giving spirit. He was always there to help others when he could.
He will be laid to rest in a small private ceremony at Evergreen-Washelli Columbarium in Seattle.
