Mom was born in Seattle, WA., to Berton and Jeannette Wilcox Williams on December 1, 1919. She graduated from West Seattle High School in 1937 and married Robert Bob H. Clark of Magnolia in 1941 in San Diego where he was stationed during the war before going overseas. Through the years, they resided at Magnolia, Mercer Island, Redmond, Oak Harbor, Arlington and Bothell.
Mom had been a member of the Mercer Island Kiwanis Club as well as St Monica's Catholic Church also in Mercer Island and Catholic Churches with each residence.
Mom was an artist and craftswoman in ceramics, candles and dried flowers. In the 1970s, she was a co-owner of The Peddler, a gift store in Redmond. She was also promotions manager for custom jewelry and managed a kitchen shop in Crossroads Mall. Like her husband, she also enjoyed the outdoors, having gone on many family camping trips. But most of all, she loved and cared for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by Bob, her loving husband of 66 years in 2007. She is survived by her sister Audrey Weber of Bellingham, her daughters, Karen Southwick of Port Townsend, Jeannine Heindel of Port Susan and sons Donald Clark of Puyallup and Richard Clark of Columbia, South Carolina as well as 16 grandchildren and even more great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Mom's Evergreen Hospice care team for the understanding, patience and care provided to both Mom and the family during this difficult time.
Mom was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brendan Catholic Church on September 27 at 2 pm at 10100 NE 192nd Street in Bothell.
