Mary Ann Ross Chang, 75, passed away October 26, 2019, in Edmonds, Washington. She was born September 25, 1944, in Joliet, Illinois, and lived for 43 years in Honolulu, Hawaii, before moving to the Seattle area in 2013 to be closer to her son and his family.
Mary Ann will be remembered as a kind, warm, and patient person by all those who knew her. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Hawaii, and flew for 37 years as a flight attendant for United Airlines prior to retiring in 2001.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Gregory Chang, in 1996. She is survived by her son Brandon, daughter-in-law Leslie, and grandson Russell.
Memorial service and visitation will be at 10:30 AM on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA, 98133. Formal attire is not required. Mary Ann will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, Illinois. There will be a celebration of life gathering in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
