Age, 94, passed away at her residence of 45 years, in Mountlake Terrace, Washington on January 1, 2012. She was born in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Frank Leon and Elsie Belle (Anderson) Winters on October 27, 1917. She was known for her artistic crafts of sewing and painting. She collected antiques and refurbished old furniture in her spare time. In her earlier years, she could be found camping,fishing, and hunting with her husband and best friend of 62 years, David A. Davidson Jr.
She is preceded in death by her parents and oldest sister, Jessiebelle Winters. She is survived by her husband; David; brother, Bud Winters; sister, Virginia DelGuzzi; daughter, Sherry (Louie) Curto of Houston, Texas; son, Richard (Carole) VanTine of Edmonds, Washington; five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many loving extended family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Madeline’s life will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 at Acacia Funeral Home Fireside Room, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, Washington 98155; 206-362-5525, at 10:30AM.
