I haven’t seen Laura in years but she was my best friend for a few years when I lived in Bellvue. I lost her number and messaged her on FB but she never got on and seen my messages. I remember the day I took the picture that’s her profile pic on FB in 2010. Laura lit up every room she ever walked into. We always had an awesome time together. My heart hurts and I’m shocked. Heaven just got an Angel for sure. I will always miss you. ❤️ Till we meet again my friend. 🙏💖

I worked with Laura at Murray Franklyn for many years and we continued to stay in touch after she left the company . I have happy memories of chatting it up with Laura about live music, the songs, lyric versus, and artists themselves. Her energy was always high and cheery! You will be missed!

I haven't known Laura very long, We met at the beginning of October when we both started working at the same store. Even in the short time I knew her, she was so incredibly kind and funny. Working with her was something I always looked forward to. I hope she rests easy. My deepest condolences go out to her friends and family. ❤️

Oh my gosh ! I have loved Laura for about 30 years ! She was such an amazing friend!!  She was there! Always there for me  with an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, unconditional love! A blessing in my life I needed ! A blessing in my daughters life ! She had such a way about her with people! She made you feel like what ever you were going through, you would be OK! One of my best friends I have ever had .  So many memories I will always cherish !  So many laughs and so many tears !! (Way more laughs ) my concert girl for the last 30 years !  Laura was an amazing friend ! I’m so glad that I knew this woman !! I was definitely blessed to have known her ! My heart is breaking ! For the loss of this beautiful soul ! All four of my little girlz/wife came up to my work in our Odyssey to pick me and my friend up to head down to the Seahawks championship parade. First thing my friend did was pull out a bag full of hats, scarves and gloves concerned that my girlz would get cold. We timed it where we would get there just as the parade started, which was not a good decision as there was traffic and no parking. Girlz were anxious and wanted to see the parade so my friend offered to drop us off, drive the Odyssey, find a parking space, then catch up with us later. As we finished the parade nearly two hours later….we did run into her again….still circling around for a parking spot. Thank you for the memories….

Story told….she can tell entertaining long stories with the best of them, genuinely cares for anyone she meets, takes interest in young lives, sacrifices, takes the time to help and think of others and….is a true angel.

No words can express how we feel towards your unfortunate demise! May your soul rest in peace. You were the most marvelous neighbor. We had flourished our time and chit-chat with you in the garden. Time can never fade the memories of you. You will always stay alive and smiling in our memories and hearts. The beautiful moments you shared with us will never be forgotten. Laura was my second cousin once removed.  We recently reconnected as we ran into each other at a consignment store in Bellevue about four or five years ago.  We had a long dinner catching up about a year and a half ago.  We commiserated together as both of our dads (who were first cousins) had Alzheimer’s disease.  She gave me many pieces of advice with regards to how to care for him.  My dad passed in June and we had a nice service for him in August and she was going to attend but could not at the last minute.  I really regret not reaching out to her after that.  She was a very vibrant and fun person and always have me in stitches.  She was very authentic and real and just a great person to be around.  We shared a love of animals.  In lieu of flowers I’ve donated to Motley Zoo animal rescue.  We had plans to get together in Chelan as we both frequently went there.  I really wish we would’ve made that happen. Laura brought energy to every room or space she was in!  I had the pleasure of working with her for many years.  She had a love for so many things in life and a story to share about it.  May you rest in peace  my dear friend.  The world will forever be less bright without you in it.

Laura was a vivacious friend! We connected over music, gardening, and her beautiful, generous way of being in the world. 
Though we only knew her for a little over a year, she was an important part of our life and will be remembered with love forever.

Laura was a gem in our condominium complex.  She was the one that always said hello to everyone.  This place will feel lonely and your flower planting projects will certainly be missed.  Keep staying beautiful be that flower you always were.  

I spoke to Laura just a week before her passing and was shocked and saddened to hear that she is now gone.  We talked about medical insurance and she gave me some advice then went to animatedly tell me how excited she was to be attending the Eagles concert that next weekend. 

We both worked for Murray Franklyn and although we were not close friends, anyone that came close to her orbit couldn't avoid being captured and becoming more than just an acquaintance.

Peace to you Laura, you will be remembered always.

Laura and I met when we both worked at Verizon wireless. We were both smokers and, as such, we spent many a day sharing stories at the "smoking spot."   When I purchased a piece of furniture that was too big for my little car, Laura was there with her huge SUV to help me move it. She introduced me to Hornitos Tequila, road shortcuts throughout Bellevue, and  when I started renting a house in Issaquah, she let me know, quite proudly, that Ted Bundy had kidnapped a girl from just down the street at Lake Samammish. Laura supported and encouraged me through my own fertility struggles. She was one of the few friends I had that really understood the emotional and physical toil it puts on a person, but she remained so hopeful and encouraging to me. The love and support she gave me during all the time I knew her was amazing, she was amazing and I will forever miss her. I'm sad that I never had the chance to tell her how much she meant to me. Rest easy my dear friend

Words will never express our love for Laura, she was honestly the salt of the earth, a one of a kind a champion for all the kindness in humanity, loved everyone as a friend, an equal, or family member.  We had the privilege of living above Laura Bernal (now Lee) from 2004 – 2015. She was always attached to her phone so in one final text I sent her “I will forever miss you my friend, your kindness, generosity, and spirit will go a long way in heaven. You are now an angel to look after us all ❤❤❤.” the day she passed and true to her. Her vibrant energy was infectious and made everyone in the room feel like they were invited to the party.  After we moved, we continued to stay in contact, while it was not as frequent as the past - the connection was still strong and never missed a beat. We even had the honor to host her and Gayle for a holiday dinner to celebrate, connect, and laugh. While our hearts mourn, we know she is at peace, that she is with her father and Grandma Rose, and that she was loved.  Our hearts and prayers go out to Gayle first and foremost, Greg, Jennell, Fiona & Annabel, the extended families of Gayle and Darrell, Bob, James, Tina, Shelby, Susan, Barry, Mark, and all the other friends/family who Laura Lee brought together. We will truly miss you friend – no words will ever express that.  Love always and forever Eric and David. ❤
