June passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 9th, 2013, at the age of 90. She grew up in Ballard where she met her beloved husband of 65 years, Leonard. A mother to her children and her grandchildren alike, she was loving, caring and beautiful in every way. Her heart was dedicated to her family unconditionally – her passion for her marriage and family was undeniable. We will forever have memories of Harrison Hot Springs, afternoon teas, popcorn balls, vinegar rinses, Shalimar, grab bags, Juanita Beach picnics, Frederick & Nelson, banana bread, holiday dinners, and broccoli casserole. June is survived by her son, Sam; daughter, Cheryl; 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, WA, on Monday, Sept. 16th from 10AM-1PM; followed by Funeral, Graveside, and Reception Services at 2PM. June will be missed by all and never, ever forgotten.
