Ernesto Morga, born on February 26, 1937, in Cavite, Philippines, peacefully departed this world on January 14, 2024 surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A man of honor and dedication, Ernesto's life was marked by love, service, and family.
The descendent of a successful fisherman, and an avid fisherman himself, Ernesto proudly joined the Navy in 1957. He soon moved up the ranks and retired as Chief after 23 years.
On August 31, 1960, Ernesto embarked on a new chapter of his life as he married the love of his life, Corazon. Together, they built a foundation of love and shared countless cherished moments full of travel, family, friends and faith. Their journey was a testament to enduring commitment and partnership.
Ernesto is survived by his wife Cora and four devoted children, who carry on his legacy of strength, kindness, and familial love. His 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren are a living testament to the rich tapestry of family that Ernesto wove throughout his life.
Ernesto Morga will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, his sense of duty, and the quiet strength that defined him. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the life of a remarkable individual who touched the hearts of all who knew him.

A funeral service for Ernesto will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Saint Marks Catholic Church, 18033 15th Pl NE, Shoreline, WA 98155, followed by a reception at the church from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Acacia Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, WA 98155.
