Deborah I. Snyder BUCHTERKIRCHEN, Surrounded by her loving family, Deborah Buchterkirchen found peace and eternal life on December 28, 2007 at the age of 78 after a courageous battle with cancer. Deborah was born March 23, 1929 in Johnson City, Tennessee to the late Andrew and Pearl Snyder. She was united in marriage to the late Howard Big Buck Buchterkirchen of Seattle on April 10, 1970. Debbie was employed with David L. Jones Wholesale Florist for twelve years where she was able to use her talent and passion for flowers. Another passion of Debbie?s was to share acts of kindness with someone every day, therefore touching many lives and leaving behind many cherished memories. Debbie had many amazing friends with whom she had so much fun. All those whose lives she touched will remember her kind heart and many thoughtful acts. Debbie?s life was enhanced by her Baptist faith. Debbie is survived by her loving daughters, Andrea Felty, of Dickinson, TX and Sherry Montgomery of Seattle, WA, two grandchildren, Keith Dolch of Texas and Tamel Givens Ashan of Seattle, two great grandsons, Michael and Marquise, of Seattle, one brother, James Peggy Snyder of Kennewick, WA, three sisters, Mary Hamilton, of Johnson City, TN, Nancy James Ellison, of Seattle, and Sue Allen Rowe, of Newark, DE. She is further survived by loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and many loving friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jake and Bill Snyder of Rising Sun, Maryland, and a sister, Chasie McKinney, of Johnson City, TN, and a nephew, Rufus Snyder, of Rising Sun, MD. In keeping with her wishes, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of her family. Inurnment will be handled by Evergreen ? Washelli.
