On Sunday August 15th 2021, our beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, uncle, cousin, and friend, Casey Jeffery Hills, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Seattle, Washington at the young age of 18 years old. Casey was the baby of the family, born on April 7th 2003 in the small town of Newport, Washington to parents Daniel Hills and Pamela Jeffery.
As a young boy Casey could almost always be found watching movies, his favorite being Finding Nemo which he watched on repeat. His other spare time in his young age was spent collecting and playing Pokemon cards. Casey also attended boy scouts, which would later lead to his love for outdoorsy activities including fishing, hiking, and his unique knife collection. We knew at a very young age that Casey had gotten his parents artistic abilities. He started out making comic books and as he got older his passion was his artwork, drawings, and making music with some of his close friends (Dylan, Jeremy, Michael, Quentin, Sam, Oved). When Casey wasn't hanging out with his friends, girlfriend (Ava), or best friend (Sarah), he would have been found spending time with his mom, teaching his nephews how to play video games, visiting his family in Newport, or more recently you would have found him at Jack in the Box where he had landed his first job. We were all so proud of him. Those who knew Casey say he was a bright light in this world and an old soul. He always knew how to make everyone laugh and he had a contagious smile that will be missed forever.
Casey is now reunited with his grandmother Barbara Kaul "Big Grandma", his Grandma Marge Junell, his brother Danny Hills, and his cat Mr. Cuddles.
Casey leaves behind his mother Pamela (Steve), his father Dan, his siblings Kelsee (Dylan), Ashlee, Jeremy (April), Heather, Cody, and Alyna, as well as his nephews Trenden, Dayton, Kohen, Bryden, and Rhyken, who all adored him to pieces, and Grandpa Richard (Polly) and Grandma Sue. Also many more extended family members and countless friends who loved him dearly.
The family plans to have a celebration of life, details are still being decided. Forest Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Gone too soon, but we love you enough for a lifetime. Your memory will live on in all of us. Rest easy and shine bright.
