Born in 1923 in Minnesota, Betty lived the majority of her life in Seattle and really could not imagine living anywhere else. Betty loved music, dancing, traveling and shopping. For many years she tasked herself with collecting the days end bakery goods from uptown expresso and other places to deliver to the Union Gospel Mission in Downtown Seattle. She called it her "Muffin Run."
Her one true pleasure though, was dining at Canlis. Her joy never waned from an evening at Canlis where they treated her like royalty, honoring her with a personalized champagne glass; her name etched into the glass. Betty was able to continue her evenings at Canlis through 2019 with granddaughter Yasha Carpentier and the "girls" for a girls night out.
Betty is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Paul Bisko (1963), her parents Nannie and Earl Perry, stepson Ron LeBid, sister Dolly Ortler and the love of her life, Sam LeBid (2002). Betty is survived by her daughters Polly Ann Bisko Dougherty (Charles), Shirley Bisko, Suzanne Bisko, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her sister Merryonne Fudali (John).
