Mary Yvonne Rich

Mary Yvonne Ryer Rich was born the 6th of 10 children in Kleburg, Texas on November 13, 1934 to Richard R. Ryer Sr. and Augusta Sylvania Ryer. She went home to the Lord on June 14, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband James L. Rich; brothers Richard Ryer Jr., Joseph F. Ryer, James H. Ryer, John R. Ryer, Alvin T. Ryer and sister Joyce Marie Barnes. Left with cherished memories are her brothers Ed Ryer and Pat Ryer both of Canton, Texas; sister Shirley Ann Wells of Balch Springs, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family loved ones and beloved friends. Mary graduated from Seagoville High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society and played on the girls basketball team that won the state championship in 1953. She was top 10 in her senior class and voted the most likely to succeed. During her working career Mary worked for several companies including Southwestern Bell Telephone, Zep Manufacturing Co. and Siemens Co. She retired from Siemens in 1991. In 1945 Mary became a charter member of Oak Grove Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas.

The family will receive friends at a visitation 2-4pm Sunday June 18, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Monday June 19, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Tx. where Mary will be laid to rest in the Garden of Scriptures.
