William was a self proclaimed piddler and would spend hours in his barn tinkering on a variety of projects, putting his “Koller engineering” to work. He enjoyed being a service to others at church and in the community. He was a member of the Combine Volunteer Fire Department for over 30 years and continued to monitor the emergency radio even when he could no longer go out on calls. His Catholic faith was the cornerstone of his life. He honored traditions and valued family above all and will be remembered most as a devoted husband, Daddy and Granpa.
